The incident occurred at Slusher Hall (201 Ag Quad Lane) in the early hours of Feb. 1, 2026. The survivor and offender were known to each other and are best described as acquaintances. The suspect is a student at Virginia Tech.\n\nAs reported, this incident meets the elements of Object sexual penetration as defined in Virginia Code 18.2-67.2, and Sexual battery as defined in Virginia Code 18.2-67.4.\n\nInformation disclosed here is limited to protect the identity, privacy, and rights of the survivor.",
