In compliance with the federal Jeanne Clery Campus Security Act, Augsburg University Department of Public Safety is issuing this Timely Warning regarding the following situation which represents a serious threat to students and employees. On Monday, October 27, 2025, at approximately 9:25 p.m., the Department of Public Safety encountered an individual attempting to gain access into Lindell Library and Oren Gateway Center. When a DPS officer approached the individual, the individual pulled what appeared to be a knife and assaulted the officer.
