Timely Warning - Attempted Sexual Assault. On October 19, 2025 at approximately 9:00 PM, an unknown male forced the victim to the ground and attempted to sexually assault her. The assault occurred on the grass area near the UCSB Lagoon. The victim was able to escape and run away to safety. The suspect is described as an adult male. The suspect is not known to the victim. It is unknown if the suspect is affiliated with campus. UCPD is investigating this crime.
